Rental Booking Guide / Information
Vehicle Reservations:
- You must have held a full driving licence* for at least 2 years
- You must have a Visa, Mastercard, Visa Delta Card, Maestro or Electron
- You must be at least 23 – Model restrictions apply to drivers under 25.
- The holder of the card used must be the renter and present at start of the rental.
- You cannot book a particular model of vehicle – only a vehicle group. If there is no vehicle available from that group, we reserve the right to offer you a vehicle from a higher group (you will only be charged for the group you requested).
* UK residents holding a non-EU licence: You may drive in the UK for up to 12 months from the time you become resident. After 12 months your overseas licence will be deemed illegal in the UK and it must be exchanged for the UK equivalent. UK residents holding a (Non UK) EU Licnece: Your licence is valid until the age of 70 or for 3 years after becoming a UK resident.

Documentation required at time of collection
- A full driving licence for all named drivers, with details of all endorsements.
- If you hold a UK photocard licence, you also need to bring the paper counterpart.
- If you hold the old style paper licence you must provide photo ID in the form of a full valid passport, Armed Forces ID Card or Police Warrant Card. No other form of ID is acceptable.
- We also require to see 2 of the following as proof of address:
- Recent bank statement
- Recent utility bill
- Current credit finance agreement - Non UK residents must produce a full valid passport as must any drivers or additional drivers wishing to rent using a non-UK EEC licence.

Vehicle Returns
All hire vehicles must be returned to collection location – no out of hours returns are permitted.

Charges
The price quoted includes: daily rental charges, Third Party Insurance, Damage Liability Waiver, breakdown cover, unlimited mileage and VAT.
At the start of the rental, we take a payment for the expected cost of the rental and deposits, including fuel and damage excess. Please ensure you have sufficient funds available to cover the cost of the rental and deposits.

Insurance Cover Provided
Third Party Insurance
Third Party Insurance is compulsory under UK law and is included in your rental charge.
Damage Liability Waiver
Damage liability waiver is also included in your rental charges and limits your financial responsibility for damage to the vehicle (the amount of the liability is dependant on the size of vehicle you hire).
Windscreen & Tyres Waiver
Windscreens & Tyres Waiver is an optional waiver and will reduce your excess liability for any damage to windows and tyres to £0. Damage to any other part of the vehicle will still be charged up to the amount of your excess liability. You can purchase Windscreens & Tyres Waiver when you collect your vehicle.
Breakdown Cover
You have full breakdown cover in the UK. Details of who to contact will be confirmed by your rental advisor / and in the vehicle book pack located in the glove box.
Additional Drivers
We allow additional drivers all of which must meet our qualification criteria. Each additional driver costs £2.94 (£2.50 + VAT) per day.
Travelling outside the UK
All vehicles can be driven anywhere in the UK. If you need to take the vehicle outside the UK prior authorisation and written permission is required form the rental company (additional charges will apply).

Accidents & Endorsements
“A” Rating - AC - BA - DD - MS40/50/60/70/80/90 - DR - LC30/40/50 - CD40/50/60/70 - UT - TT99 - XX99
“B” Rating - CD10/20/30 - PC - IN10 - LC10/20 - TS
“C” Rating - CU - MS10/20/30 - MW10 - PL - SP
Where a Hirer/Driver discloses a combination of endorsements and/or accidents refer to Insurer
23 – 24 - No Accidents / one “C” rating endorsement is acceptable within the last 5 years (CU, PL, SP, MW)

Hirer/Driver: 25+
Any “A” rating endorsement within the last 5 years, cover not available
Any “A” rating endorsement combined with codes CD40-70, all DD’DR’ and UT’ endorsements over 5 years must be referred to insurer.
Any “B” rating endorsement within the last 3 years is acceptable where this is the sole endorsement. One endorsement for codes CD10-30 is acceptable, unless related to an accident or the fine is significant (£100 or more) in which case refer to Insurer.
Any “C” rating endorsement within the last 3 years is acceptable up to a maximum of two offences.
Any combination of two endorsements incorporating a “B” rating must be referred to Insurer.
Any “B” or ”C” endorsement incurring a short period of disqualification must be referred to Insurer.
